A leather-bound journal, worn at the corners. Found on the body of Thornelis Vaelorin at the estate. Lilith took it.

What It Reveals

The journal details an arrangement Thornelis Vaelorin made with Lord Fisker of Hynsford:

• Fisker would help strip Lilith of her magic before she came into her full power
• In exchange, Thornelis would cut the Byzantine mineral supply to House Valora

After Lilith left Isvyn, Fisker continued applying pressure — demanding Thornelis follow through on the Byzantine supply deal. Thornelis refused.

The journal ends there.

Notes

What happened between that refusal and Thornelis's death is not recorded. The journal raises more questions than it answers.
