Stone & Ember Forge

The Stone & Ember Forge dominates the commoners' quarter like a crouched beast of basalt. Built from heavy black stone hauled directly from the mines, its walls are thick and slightly sloped inward, designed for strength over beauty. The roofline is low and broad, interrupted by towering chimneys that never stop breathing smoke into the sky.

The doors are oversized — reinforced with iron bands and thick hinges, made to accommodate goliath-sized frames and shipments of raw ore dragged in by cart or shoulder. The ground around the forge is permanently dusted in soot. Even the air tastes metallic.


Current Status

Run by Janice — a gentle giant of a smith with a precise hand. The party helped repair his forge bellows in Session 2. He has offered to craft magical items in exchange for ore brought back from the mines.
