Debt Hall

The Debt Hall stands on the lower-middle terrace of Isvyn, built from the same pale quarry stone as the rest of the town — but without ornament, without warmth. Square, window-narrow, and heavier than it needs to be. Its doors are reinforced oak bound in iron, more like a vault than a civic office.

Inside, the air smells of ink, dust, and cold stone. Long stone counters divide clerks from townsfolk. Behind them rise shelves of bound ledgers — labor contracts, mineral quotas, shipment deficits, family obligations. Every miner's name is somewhere in those books.

Officially, the Debt Hall manages labor contracts, wage advances, equipment financing, property claims, and shipment penalties.

Current Status

Previously run by goblin brothers Draco and Drago. Drago was killed during an ambush in Session 2. Draco has signed a statement acknowledging Lilith as the rightful Vaelorin heir and is now subordinate to her. The miners will be paid fairly going forward.
