Samuel Dusk

An aging orc — old by orc standards. One tusk missing, broken years ago. Skin darkened and weathered from decades in sun and salt air. Hands like sandpaper. Thick forearms, slower now but still strong. Walks with a slight stiffness in one knee.

He does not smile easily. He speaks little. He smells faintly of livestock and old leather.

About

Samuel runs a farm outside Desvel that has been struggling since the barrier went up. When the party arrived, he was being bucked off a young horse in the yard. He didn't mention it afterward.

He offered the party gold to break the horse, and separately asked them to find his wife Cecil, who had left for Isvyn a few weeks ago and stopped writing.

In Session 1, the party rescued Cecil from Isvyn. Samuel rode out to thank them, threw a bag of beans at them without explanation, and left.
