Walker

A Walker was once a person. What remains is standing.

The body is upright but wrong — the proportions are close enough to human to be deeply unsettling. The head is gone, replaced at the neck by a mass of dark, wet tentacles that splay outward like a crown of thorns, constantly in slow motion. At the center of the chest, where the sternum should be, a single large eye sits exposed in the ribcage — blinking, tracking, watching.

The arms have lengthened, the hands fused into raking appendages. The skin is pale where it isn't split, and dark where it isn't pale. It smells of copper and something sweet and wrong.
